First Day as a chief today

On the way to work today I was thinking I'ld end up a beat-up old truck....
They gave me a spanking new Material Handeler. The truck is absolutly perfect. I spent today and probebly the rest of the week stocking it and geting it ready. so far so good. I'll get some pictures of it this week.

Are you kidding me, they still give you time to stock a truck? I gotta new truck and they gave me absolutely 0 time!!

What's the chasis they use over there anyway, International, etc.?

I just got a new 1 ton myself. It's a Ford (diesel). Tons of torque! I'm not looking forward to explaining the first scratch though!

they call us working forman, or crew chief. we still take our climbs only we get to pick em. Wait till you see my truck... I'll take pictures on thursday

This one's mine. We got two "11s" and they both had tranny issues. The other one had the tranny rebuilt and mine just got back from a computer update. Yours use that cow piss too?

Is that a 550 Mike?

I just was given a new truck about a month ago. It's an F350, no bucket.

So Groove, I'm assuming your crew has a double bucket also (along with a linetruck)? How big is your crew(s)?

Yeah it's a 550! I like it so far. It's a lot cleaner now than in the pic though!

we only have single buckets and two man crews. We have a bunch of apprentices so we can put together three man crews or 2 two man crews
