Loss of a TRUE Super Hero.....
To all my fellow hands and members of linemantoolbox It's with a heavy heart I must tell you that our families own super hero "Awesome Austin" finally succumbed to his life long unknown medical condition! For a few years now many of you have shown my family so much love and support through out Austins struggles and even though the outcome may not be what we were all hoping for I want you to know that with all of your love and support Austin put up a hell of a fight! He was smiling to the end showing his life long advisory he was the one in control! I wish all of you could have met him as he was one of God's greatest creations. We called him "Awesome Austin with the power to smile" for obvious reasons.......
Thanks again and please remember our family as we try to deal with this loss.

Mike,
I sent a message to Jen this morning, but wanted to send one to you too. I am so truly sorry for your loss. Austin is in a better place, with no more pain, of that I am sure....but your families loss is enormous....and my prayers are now for you and Jen and your families....please let me know of the arrangements and if there is anything you all need...Right now, know you all are on my mind, in my heart and in my prayers. God be with you.

Dear mike,
Please forgive me, I am at loss for words to express my sadness. These last few weeks a day has not gone by without our thoughts and prayers of Austin. His brave and gentle soul touched the hearts of all of us. The image of his amazing smile forever etched in our memory.
Please let us know if there is anything we can do to ease your families. Suffering. Thank you for sharing Austins brave journey with us. We are all better souls because of it.
Always your friend
Dave

I can't imagine what you are going through and am sorry to hear you lost your son. I heard from Dave earlier and took a moment out thinking about you and your family. Your one of the most forgiving guys I know. If there is anything I can do for you, you know my number.
Take care brother.

Very sorry Mike.
Your son seemed a bright spot in your life. Your families' strength through this is to be admired. Keep on buddy. Maybe we'll understand someday.

Super, so True
Mike
I am so sorry for your loss. I also have been impressed with the positive flow of your attitude with all the tests, doctors and hospitalization that young Austin went through. Austin is a gift from God but you where so much more of a gift for him with your strength and positivisms. Take your time getting through this and call if you ever need an ear to vent.

Re: Loss of a TRUE Super Hero.....
Dave, I moved the whole thread down here, I felt it was far more appropriate. Austins journey should make us all "reflect" on many things....our families, our gifts in life, our losses, and the things that are important in our lives and the things that arent.
Mike, Thanks so much for sharing that with us. It was beautiful, as was Austin. You and your families' love for him shone through in every photo, as did his love for you all. The tears fell easily after watching it. It was truly touching.

Re: Loss of a TRUE Super Hero.....
Our little super hero was laid to rest this afternoon and it was beautiful! A nice warm day where the many flower arrangements released their wonderful fragrance among all the friends and family that came out to celebrate his life including the arrangement from my families friends at Linemantoolbox!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL OF YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT THROUGH THE YEARS!!! We had so many comments on the flowers you sent!! They were beautiful and so much appreciated! I know my wife will be sending out thank yous to everyone but I couldn't wait to thank you all myself!!!
At his service we had a sea of "blue and whites" in the parking lot that management released to pay their respects AND help escort him to his final resting spot on Lake Sanford! So many people were taken back by the show of love and support from my friends at Consumers Energy including me! It was a greater day than I could've ever wished for my little buddy! Austin had a way of bringing out so much good from everyone! I wish you all could've seen it!
THANK YOU AGAIN!

Rest In Peace
Sorry it took so long to find out. I have been fighting problems here, and just checked in. I am truely sorry for your loss, but Austins suffering, may lead to a cure down the road for another little Superman Austin. God bless and again sorry it took so long.
